Danielle Shankman
Hi there, Consensual Humans readers! Welcome back to the kickoff of another fantastic year of content, posts and much more.
As spooky season is officially among us we also happily invite the autumn frenzy of fashion, popular culture and all things back to school.
Today i'll be taking you through a few of our fall favourites of what you should expect to be in this season.
Scarves
A big cozy scarf over any outfit, even paired with the returning leather blazer will be popping up all around campus. This staple is a must have in your closet especially as we head into the dreaded Kingston winters. And let's be honest we never quite whip out our winter jackets until snowfall, so thankfully this trend will keep us out of the cold.
2. Protection
A long standing trend that never quite loses its touch, safe sex. Whether its keeping you safe from STI’s using condoms or dental dams, protected sex has and will always be in. You never quite know what your sexual partner is carrying and contrary to popular belief STI’s are not collectable trading cards. You don't need them all. Wrap it up everyone.
3. All things Fushia
With last year's emergence of heavy brown and nude tones entering everyones closet, deep pinks and fushia coloured items will be all the hype. Already seen in staple clothing stores autumn drop, this colour adds a pop of warmth that screams fall.
4. Consent
Not a shocker with this one. Consent is always in style. Don't be ignorant, Don't be dumb, Don't be a dick. Ensure your partner wants to do whatever it is you want to do too. And lets be real, this is not a trend, this is simply a human right. But lets keep it trending shall we? Thank you.
5. Platform shoes
This trend was also big last year but I believe it's here to stay. Platform loafers, boots and sneakers all will be great additions to your closet. Especially paired with the favourite of flared pants.
6. Post sex aftercare
After you finish doing the deed there is nothing better than a little aftercare. Maybe right after you cum don't just toss a towel at your partner and leave, or immediately get dressed and shift your attention to anything but them. Instead spend a few minutes giving them your focus. Watch tiktoks together or a show. Cuddle. Talk. Make sure all parties are feeling comfortable and secure post nut.
7. Vibrators
These suckers are your best friend. Get one. Period. 💅
We are looking forward to see how everyone is styling and incorporating these fall trends into everyday life! Keep is safe, keep is classy, and keep is clean ;)
